Waterfall Development Model

The linear structured approach

Towards project management!

What is Waterfall Development model?

Waterfall Development Model is one of the traditional methods of software development unlike Agile where the working product can be measured at the end of the project phase. In JTSi, initially we have a requirement gathering phase involving multiple discussions, meetings, workshops with the clients and stakeholders. Only once the requirements are frozen and signed off by the clients, we will start with the development phase.

In Waterfall Development Model, changing requirements and enhancements cannot be accommodated because the development plan is focused on the frozen requirements. Any deviation from the scope and requirements will lead to a scope creep or gap. One of the challenges of the Waterfall Development Model is accommodating changing requirements and change in scope. Unlike Agile, software developed can be accessed and measured only at the end of the project.

In JTSi, we are very flexible to accommodate any of the software development methodologies based on the client requirements and project feasibility. If client’s requirement is Waterfall Development model, JTSi has got all the capabilities to embed the Waterfall Model for software development.
